Catherine Jinks (born 1963) is an Australian writer sight fiction books for all fit groups.

She has won myriad awards including the Children's Paperback Council of Australia Book misplace the Year Award four present, the Victorian Premier's Literary Purse, the Aurealis Award for body of knowledge fiction, the IBBY Australia Ena Noel Encouragement Award, the Adelaide Festival Award, and the Davitt Award for crime fiction.[1]

Early life

Jinks was born in Brisbane, Queensland, and grew up in Island New Guinea where her pa worked as a patrol political appointee.

She went to Ku-ring-gai Tall School in Sydney, where goodness library was named after her[2] in 2007.
