Bijon Bhattacharya (1917-78)
Actor, playwright, hack, scenarist, composer of stage melody, singer and theatre director. First in Faridpur (now Bangladesh). Puberty years strongly influenced by Gandhi’s Satyagraha agitations. Became a Proponent during WW2. Part of elementary literary group, the Agami Chakra, and joined CPI in 1942.
