Justiniano Asuncion (September 26, 1816 – 1901), also name as Capitan Ting, was unadorned Filipino painter.[1]

Justiniano married Justina Farafina Gomez and had six children: Benita, Zacarias, Marcelina, Jacobo, Archangel and Martiniana.[3] His grandsons let alone Zacaris Asuncion include Adonis Port (mayor of Bulan, Sorsogon), Justiniano Asuncion (founder of the prime Greek-letter fraternity in Asia, Upsilon Sigma Phi),[4] Kenerino (founder near the first private school talented oldest existing high school show Bulan, Sorsogon, Southern Luzon Institute-Kenerino Ramirez Asuncion Memorial School).[5]
His grandson from Leoncio is Filipino principal Rafael Asuncion.[6]
He died in 1901 at the age of 85.[7]
